CareSpot Urgent Care of Wellington / Royal Palm Beach

When this facility first opened, it was amazing. Great hours, welcoming lobby experience, and expert medical care. The medical providers are still decent, and they’re still generally open when I need them, but the lobby experience and back office billing have really become problems. Today I was excited to see zero people in the waiting room - always a good sign in an urgent care facility. I approached Jessica at the front desk and was met with zero eye contact as she mumbled something under her breath at her phone. Eventually she asked for my insurance and ID, which I gave to her before taking my seat. After a few minutes, she reported that I had something like $150 due today. The doctor was incredibly empathetic and helpful, it was truly a great experience. She was very calm and took the time to explain everything clearly, including how to take the medication. I don’t usually go to the doctor very often, and I hope I won’t need to again anytime soon, but if anyone I know needs a doctor, I will definitely recommend CareSpot. We visited on March 3, 2026 to have my mother examined after her fall. All staff that we encountered, from the front desk to the medical care staff, were very kind and professional. We were seen promptly and the facility was clean and orderly. The nurse, PA Elena, and the radiological technician were all very patient with my Mom who does not hear well. I now understand why my sister and her family also use this facility for their needs.

Very disappointed. My daughter had ear pain, and even though we could hear doctors talking inside, no one would see her. We arrived at 8:00, and the front desk said she wouldn’t see a doctor until 8:45. I honestly don’t understand what’s “urgent” about an urgent care that makes patients wait that long while in pain.

My experience at CareSpot was mixed. The staff was not rude and were generally professional, but they do not seem to respect appointment times. Be prepared to wait over an hour past your scheduled appointment before being seen. If you have other plans afterward, I recommend scheduling them at least 2–3 hours later to be safe.
