CareSpot Urgent Care of Lake Mary

Horrible customer service from the receptionist to start off. You could barely hear her because of how quiet she talked she would literally roll her eyes at customers. I came here because my employer sent me here to do a drug test. I had an appointment at 8:30 they told me they cannot find the form in their system and to please email it to them after emailing it to them. I waited an hour for them to finally call me back up there and tell me that I needed to call my employer and have them send out a new form. Why are you gonna wait an hour to tell someone that after they’ve been sitting there?

I had my first experience at this facility on 1/12/26. It was very positive right from my phone call until I checked out. All of the staff was positive and helpful. A great feature of this Urgent Care , in addition to the very professional staff, is the fact that they do X-rays on sight. This is a huge advantage. I will definitely use them again when needed and highly recommend this facility to family and friends.

Do not go here if youre in desperate need of medical care. The lack of regard & inconvenience I experienced after battling a flu is unlike anything I have ever experienced from a provider. First the wait to be seen is horrible. Second after I was finally seen they sent my prescription to a pharmacy that didn’t exist. Then they said they sent it to another pharmacy so I drove there only to be told it was never received I called them and asked them to please call the pharmacy and they put me on hold by the time they returned the pharmacy was closed. I called back and was told I would have to wait because the provider was with another patient & they can’t disturb her. This is 1 hour after I left this office trying desperately to get some medicine so I can get some relief. They just do not car

Pros: Convenient hours and location. Office was clean. New front desk staff was trained well. My father's issue was taken care of. The medical assistant did everything. The doctor was pleasant. Improvement Needed: We had an appointment but waited a while to be called back to a room where we waited more which was unfortunate. There's no point in having a appointment when you're waiting like patients without an appointment.

The waiting room is not full of super sick people and the medical staff is compassionate and know just what I need. They must be very good about getting such people back to a room. I know I’ll feel better after a visit to Care Spot Lake Mary.
