CareSpot Urgent Care of Gainesville Midtown

Able to make an appt online, same day. They got me in pretty quickly. The young lady working the desk was SUPER friendly and nice. Very cheerful! That goes a long way when you aren’t feeling well. The nurse taking my vitals was also SUPER nice, cheerful and friendly.

I was first told I would wait 2-3 hours. When I asked 3 hours into my wait I was told it would be another 2 hours. I couldn’t even decide to go elsewhere because I had to pay BEFORE I received any help. Additionally, when I finally saw someone, they asked me what I thought I should be tested for (I obviously have no clue as I have no medical training and that’s why I am here). I was not prescribed any medication and was instead given a list of over the counter medications. Overall this was an awful experience and I will not be returning. I was convinced that this could even be some sort of scam because there is no way these are genuine medical professionals. Do better.

Made an online appointment to be seen at 4:15. Waited an additional 2 hour after my appointment date in office. Why am I paying money right when I get to my appointment just to be trapped to feel sick waiting for hours? What’s the point in a “hold my spot in line” system if I have to wait hours additionally? Actually insane.

I went to this urgent care in Gainesville and had a very poor experience. I was misdiagnosed and prescribed medication that did not help and actually made my condition worse. After realizing the diagnosis was incorrect, I tried multiple times to get help from their staff so I could see the appropriate specialist (a gynecologist). Despite the fact that the problem started with their evaluation, no one took responsibility, no one helped with a referral, and I was left completely stuck in the system. Telehealth could not help, and the urgent care itself refused to assist further. This was not just inconvenient — it delayed proper medical care and made an already stressful health situation worse. I do not recommend this urgent care if you need thorough evaluation, accountability, or help n

I honestly couldn't believe how insanely quick, easy and thorough this place really was, I've done D.O.T Physicals alot of different places but this one was by far the absolute best of them all... in and out in less than an hour after my appointment time... I've never seen any place keep appointments like this... they were on time and on point... I will definitely be back to this location at midtown Gainesville fl next time as well... very, very, very professional and very, very, very great service.. Thank you all so very much for everything and for keeping it not only professional but painless as well! If you want an outstanding place to visit for your urgent care needs, then this is the place for you... if items could give them a higher rating I sure would... thank you all again very ama
