CareSpot Urgent Care of Gainesville 43rd Street

This was my first time at this location and it was horrible. The young lady that called myself and my daughter was rude and showed no empathy. She didn’t have in a name tag and she did speak good English. I will not come back to this location ever. Midtown Carespot is the best and we will continue to go to that location in the future. I also had an appointment at 5pm and we didn’t get called back until 5:30.

The front desk staff did not greet me and was noticeably unfriendly throughout the check-in process. I was called over using a hand gesture that felt condescending and unprofessional, which made me feel disrespected as a patient. In contrast, the medical staff who treated me was kind, professional, and attentive, which I appreciated. I hope the clinic can improve customer service at the front desk, as a welcoming and respectful attitude is important in a healthcare setting.

The ladies at the front desk were super sweet & efficient! Scheduling an appointment was easy and it took little to no time for me to be seen once I arrived.

So thankful for the office and staff at this Care Spot location. I’ve always had a great experience at Care Spot so was glad to find one near our son at college. I knew it was the place to go so tried your location first. I was able to schedule an appt within hours of our call. The front desk was super helpful as they worked with us to figure out our insurance. Our son was seen in a very timely manner. The care he received was phenomenal. He was diagnosed and prescribed meds to begin feeling better quickly. Thank you all for making this first time being sick away from home experience a breeze.

Steer clear of Allison Dowell. You'll walk out sicker than you came in. She has no idea what she's doing. Does half-assed assessments and relies on her MA to take a clinical history and doesn't bother listening to her patients.
