CareOne at Teaneck

I was a patient at Care One At Teaneck from mid-June until last week, mid-November. I received physical and occupational therapy six times a week. The therapists were uniformly supportive and knowledgeable about my abilities, knowing when to encourage greater activity and when to ease up, depending on how I was feeling. I was challenged and not coddled. But always treated with respect and good humor. The nurses, assistants and administrators were never less than encouraging. They made a stressful situation as pleasant as was possible. I am very glad I chose Care One At Teaneck for my rehab experience. I highly recommend it.

Care one Teaneck is the best rehab facility in the entire world. The best cna Mr Jesus and the best nurse Mr Melvin both of them always take care for me all the time especially jesus. Words are not enough to describe compassion and doing there job correctly above and beyond. Ty for everything for good care for me.

If you have a loved one here who is unable or unwilling to clearly advocate for themselves, it is imperative that family/friends are present to do that for them. As a medical provider I am highly unimpressed by, and embarrassed for, this facility. Nursing staff are mostly friendly, but communication/protocols are so poor they are dangerous. Our loved one (we’ll call her Jane) is a patient here. This is just some of what we have experienced: - well over 24 hrs after MD’s decision that Jane is at a high aspiration risk and should be NPO (no foods, drinks or meds by mouth) she continued to receive meal trays, with which staff attempted to feed her and administer crushed medications. I’m so thankful for the incredible care they give here. The staff treat them with such kindness, respect, and genuine compassion — it truly feels like family here. The facility is always clean, welcoming, and full of life, with activities that keep residents happy and engaged. Communication with our family is excellent, giving us complete peace of mind. I also want to thank Ms. Mary Adrianne for her patience and very accommodating approach with regards our admission.

Impressed with the level of care and attention the staff provides. The facility is clean comfortable, and feels very welcoming. The staff genuinely takes the time to get to know each resident, ensuring they feel safe and well cared for. There are also plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained and happy. If you’re looking for a place where your loved ones will receive thoughtful and respectful care, this is definitely a great option.
