CareOne at Middletown

Since placing my dad at care one Middletown he has had physical and occupational therapy, his walking has improved, has gained weight and his overall cognitive functioning has substantially improved. The aides and nurses are so good to him and even communicate with me how he is doing. It is so good to see him smile and be loved.

I had friends at CareOne at Middletown for both short-term rehab and long-term care, and every experience has been excellent. The staff is truly family-oriented, compassionate, and always welcoming — doors were always open to us, which made such a difference. We couldn’t have asked for better care or a more supportive environment.

My mother has recovered there twice and both times (between 2021 and April 2025) our experience was extremely positive. The nurses, PT staff, admins and Dr. Ross and truly just about everyone we met demonstrated empathy, care and a passion for their work. I can say with certainty this is the best rehab of five in the surrounding area. Riverview Rehab was great too, but Jersey Cares and Arnold Walter left a lot to be desired. However, stay away from Complete Care. It was a complete disaster that ended with me calling 911 to get her out of there. We got there and she got next to no attention for four hours. I wasn't leaving her there. Care One will always have a special place in my heart because she was so well cared for by the attentive, kind and overall wonderful nurses. Thank you!

My mom lives at CareOne and we are satisfied that we made the right decision to come here. My mom receives the care and attention she needs by attentive staff. The atmosphere is friendly and attention is paid to activities. I rate 4 star rather than 5 because there is always room for improvement- and I want to be honest and not sugar coat what is a difficult time of life.

My Mom has been staying at the Care One King James facility for the past 2 months and has had an extremely positive experience. I visit quite often, professionalism and kindness starts at the front desk and continues in the rehab areas which are well fitted and modern. The cna’s are incredible and compassionate, the nursing station is well run and have some standout RN’s. The facility is well maintained and clean, the custodians are great. Mom is enjoying the food and is quite comfortable here.
