If I could give 0 stars, I would. On their website, CareOne at East Brunswick Assisted Living states: “At CareOne at East Brunswick Assisted Living, we go above and beyond to treat your family like our own. Our team personalizes their care with warmth and empathy, so our residents feel safe and at ease.” Unfortunately, this was not our experience at all. And after reading other reviews, don’t assume your loved one will somehow have a better outcome — we hoped the same, and we were wrong. The nurses were rude and disrespectful. Medications were not given on time. Our mom was neglected instead of cared for. Her condition declined to the point that we had to bring her back to the hospital. Even the ambulance driver expressed concern about the condition of the facility. This experience was h

Social workers don’t care about your feelings or what you’re going through. All they care about is themselves. Nurses make you wait sometimes for your meds for over an hour and don’t care how much pain you’re in. Aides don’t give showers or even change your linens unless you ask. This place is absolutely horrible. I would not recommend my worst enemy to stay here. The only decent department is a physical therapy and at least they care and listen to you. PT is extremely helpful

Where should I start. This place is horrible. Residents lay in bed throughout the day. They only get up for physical therapy and occupational therapy in which it’s suppose to be for 30-45 minutes for each. They are lucky if they get 30 minutes in total, then back to bed. This place is falling apart. They rely on machine that are inadequate. They have a real hard time getting manual blood pressure and pulse. This place is filthy. Paints chipping, furniture are so old and with no handle on drawers. All those pictures you see online are completely false. It’s from a completely different area. There are no lounge chairs for the resident to sit. Nursing care lacks logic and care, some I have seen sitting and asleep. Nursing assistant takes 45 minutes and even longer to answer a simple call bell

I would not recommend this facility based on my uncle’s experience during his recovery stay. Several serious issues occurred that directly affected his health and safety. • Medication was not administered on schedule, despite a clear order for timed antibiotics. This caused my uncle to experience a mental lapse and disturbing delusions. • The bed was air-filled, but the pump was never checked by staff. It was not working, leaving him lying on a metal frame without proper support or comfort. • My uncle was documented as a fall risk, which required proper precautions. However, the chair notification system was never installed, and he ultimately fell. These failures in basic care and safety protocols are unacceptable. Families place their trust in a care facility to follow medical orders and

I've just completed five weeks of physical rehab from a significant leg injury. The stay also required a high degree of medical care with regards to administering antibiotics and other drugs. Througout my entire stay, I have found the entire staff of Care One be polite, friendly, professional and capable. All of my nurses aids were genuinely friendly and caring and attentive to my needs. They went over and above their required roles to make my stay very comfortable. Care One has an extensive number of physical and occupational therapy staff . I had the pleasure of dealing with at least ten of these staff members. Each one of them them treated me and the other patients with genuine care and I was fully confident with their expertise. I cannot speak more highly of the nursing staff who took
