My mother stayed here for approximately 3–4 weeks, and the experience was extremely disappointing and concerning. Basic patient care and communication were consistently lacking. The food was poor, and repeated requests for alternative options were ignored, especially during the days leading up to discharge. During the final days of her stay, she did not receive therapies as expected, and there was a noticeable lack of empathy from staff. The discharge process was completely disorganized. The family was not informed of the plan, transportation details were unclear, and there was no coordination with us. I requested updates multiple times with little to no response. This was my first experience at v a rehab facility. The experience was something I wouldn't want to go through again. The 11pm to 7am shift was a nightmare literally Iwas a two assist non weight bearing due to gout. I was there because of a thyroid problem I used call light to get assistance to rest room no one answered light for at least 45 minutes to an hour aide finally came in I said I needed assistance to restroom the girl said we'll go ahead do it I said I needed help she walked away without saying a word had no badge did not know her name came back quite awhile later put me in restroom didn't help transfer to toilet. I pulled call light when done no one came took me 45 minutes to get myself to sink to wash hands and back to bed . At 6:15 am the 11-7 shift was running around changi

If I could give ZERO STARS, I would!!! My grandmother was moved to care one after about a week and change in Emerson hospital for RSV. In her time at CareOne, she did not improve from her state in the hospital. The reason was clear after we asked for a care log and realized that she was getting PT *maybe* once a day, with entire days of none. She ended up getting released for "lack of improvement" and after another ultimate hospitalization, got replaced at another location where she improved significantly in comparison. At CareOne, she also would be left to sit in adult pull-up diapers for HOURS without being changed, even after calling for help to get to the bathroom. Needs an Elder Abuse Investigation. Fod rating= 0 Dinner: 39 beans;3 slices of hotdogs.. all from a can. Also canned pineapple instead of Fresh Fruit for days. Patients having no water; sitting in own urine for hours and waiting an our for a response to the alert bell. PT program is not a program; thrown equipment on floor in dining hall; 20 minutes every other day of practice getting to and from toilet for 4 weeks. So many other Massachusetts agencies should be brought in as well.

My dad just spent three weeks at Care One after a 10 day, stay in the hospital with pneumonia and a serious UTI. The care he received was outstanding. Not only was he up and ready to go at the time we were told. Everything was ready medications, paperwork and personal belongings.After almost a year stay at a previous Care facility. I feel like we know what good Care looks like. He was able to get in and out of the car his legs were strong. It was clear that he had excellent physical therapy and occupational therapy. I highly recommend Care one for your loved ones. Care one did more for him and three weeks then the previous place that he was in for almost a year.
