CareNow Urgent Care - West El Paso

Went to Care now Urgent Care on Mesa on the West side El Paso Texas. After being refused care from Wellmed. The front desk staff was very nice . When got taken back to room the Doctor didn't look at arm or have me raise it to see the type of pain I was in . Then ordered x rays came in said no dislocation or fracture just gave pain meds and lidocaine patch also ordered numbing cream which pharmacy never gave cause Care Now didn't call Blue Cross Blue Shield to get it approved. Gave me a return to work next day and sent me on my way if pain persist the return. They should have tried to finde out what happened and what caused it but sent me on my way as it was my son had to take me I couldn't get dressed or do hair or going to restroom was so hard needing help. I went to this urgent care as a walk-in. There was a bit of a wait, but it felt like a normal/expected amount for urgent care. Once I was called back, everything moved pretty fast. The staff was super nice, helpful, and friendly, and the clinic was clean and well-kept. Overall, a great experience and I’d definitely come back if I needed to.

Ease of online check-in was great. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Forgot the Dr’s name and nurse but they were excellent. Great conversations. Pottery much in and out a little over an hour. Highly recommend!!!

I was turned away since I couldn’t pay a copay. At the time I didn’t know but I ended up being diagnosed with sever strep throat and RSV. I would not recommend this place if you are experiencing extreme symptoms like I was. I was seen by the Las Palmas staff who were awesome and amazing.

My opinion of this Care Now Clinic just went down the drain👎. I had given a 5 star rating at one point because I loved this clinic, I really did. I have come by twice yesterday and today and both times they have turned me away. Same issue... the Doctor has seen his last patient. This is only 3:35pm and they are open till 8pm... but no doctor???🤔 The receptionist told me we stay open for drug screening and x-ray but the doc is gone for the day. The website doesn't state that!!! What a disappointment👎I will not be coming back here again. I letting my family members that I recommend not to bother coming becuase they turn you away if it after 3pm. The service is not good when they turn you away at 3p🤷🏻‍♀️👎👎👎👎 What a same!!!
