CareNow Urgent Care - Tomball Parkway

Today I had an extremely disappointing experience, and I would strongly advise others to avoid this urgent care. I paid a $244 copay for my initial visit, during which the treatment provided did not help. I was prescribed a steroid that was not medically necessary and ultimately worsened my condition. I was told to return in three days if my symptoms persisted or worsened. When I did return with the same symptoms—caused in part by the prescribed medication—I was informed that I would be charged the same copay again. This reflects poor clinical judgment and a lack of patient-centered care. I was admitted with an extreme case of vertiginous syndrome and felt absolutely miserable when I arrived. Joseph Turchen and his team evaluated me promptly and with great professionalism. They acted quickly and administered a double dose of Ondansetron (Zofran), which relieved my nausea almost immediately and made a huge difference in how I felt. I truly appreciated the efficiency, attentiveness, and care I received. The entire team was compassionate and reassuring during a very uncomfortable experience. The moment I walked in front office was extremely nice and very welcoming. Michael the lab tech was awesome! I drove from another location where front staff was less than desirable. Everything is so clean. Thank you for making my experience a great one. Would definitely recommend.

Just took my copay and sent me home. Check in process could be improved, you have to do it on paper and again on a tablet, wait time was great, not a long wait time, but the NP did not listen to me, basically said I'm not sick when I clearly am. Just did a covid and flu test and since negative didn't do anything sent me home with nothing, and now I feel even worse which is what I didn't want.

I spent over $200 and never even saw a Dr. I saw a Nurse Practitioner who only did an x-Ray and told me to go see a specialist. No help at all. Now, I continue to have the problems I am having for a few more weeks until I can get an appt with a specialist. They still took my money though.
