CareNow Urgent Care - Frisco West

This is the worst service ever! I hope you’re not sick and need help! My son went for a high school physical and we had to wait 2hour and 10 mins because the front desk clerk stated she didn’t see us in the waiting room!!

I had a great experience at this Care Now. The receptionist was so sweet and welcoming, the nurse was also sweet and has a beautiful smile and smiled the whole time. I really liked the doctor, Dr. Hester, he really made me comfortable and wasn’t in a hurry to rush out. I will definitely go back to this location.

I was able to get an appointment quickly. 😊Receptionist was very kind and patient with my lack of technology skills to complete the registration forms. The nurse was very friendly. Dr. Hester was so nice and explained my diagnoses very thoroughly. I’m sure this time of year when so many people are sick that he says the same thing many, many times a day! :-(

I waited in the CareNow waiting room for over two and a half hours without being called back. When I asked the front desk staff when I would be seen, I was told I would be next. That was not true—another patient who arrived after me was taken back before I was. I had checked in online, but the front desk canceled my appointment and required me to manually check in again, which added another hour to my wait time. At that point, I had been waiting almost three hours. The front desk was collecting co-pays despite the lack of adequate service. Patients also need to be cautious, as specialist co-pays were being collected when only a primary care co-pay should have applied. Overall, this was a very frustrating and unacceptable experience.

Front desk lady did not greet, was rude, had a poor attitude and lacked overall professionalism. The place looked empty so I had no idea someone was even there. Such a poor experience before being seen. Visited on 8/19/2025 at 2pm. Update: Dr. Hester was extremely knowledgeable and kind! Very unfortunate his colleagues don’t reflect that same level of care.
