I am writing to formally report the treatment I received during my visit to the CareNow Urgent Care location on 1/20. The behavior displayed by both the front desk staff party and the Physician Assistant Dr David Manly (PA) was unprofessional, dismissive, and left me feeling discouraged and shamed for seeking medical care. Prior to arriving, I called the clinic to confirm closing time and ask whether radiology services were available, as I was concerned I may have fractured my ankle. The staff member who answered the phone sounded irritated from the start and responded abruptly. She questioned why I was calling, asked about my insurance in a manner that felt inappropriate at that stage, and made the interaction uncomfortable before I even arrived. I had an excellent experience at this urgent care facility. The service was fast and efficient. The front desk staff member was very helpful during check-in and made the process smooth. Both the nurse and the doctor were highly professional, attentive, and took the time to listen to my concerns. I truly appreciated the level of care I received and would highly recommend this location.

Regrettably, I was unable to ascertain the name of the physician who attended to me at this location at 11:57 AM, today. Physician and nurse assistant Kia MA, Miok, were very unprofessional. Without prior knowledge, Mrs. Kia MA, Miok, promptly informed me that stitches removal is not covered by insurance, that it was an out-of-pocket expense. What truly captivated my attention was not the conversation itself, but the exchange between Mrs. Miok and an individual outside the room. I distinctly heard a woman informing Kia Miok “since when insurance would not cover stitches removal, it is a procedure we have previously performed”. Also, Mrs. Miok mentioned that we weren’t the ones who performed the surgery. When Mrs. Miok returned to the room, my response to her was, “I know you didn’t perform

No appointment necessary to complete my drug test for my new employer. It was a last minute notice; good thing I was drinking a lot of water this morning. Staff was quick and responsive!
