CareNow Urgent Care - Edinburg-McAllen

Patient care not an issue but I can’t help but feel I was scammed out of $500! I was told before I went in that fees range from $100 to $700. I’ve been to urgent care facilities before and have always paid $75 copay plus for any additional services if rendered. But never this amount! When I was done with nurse practitioner, I was told that my insurance would be billed $700 and that it was estimated that they would pay $200 which meant I had to pay $500 up front before I could leave! Apparently, patients are charged according to their deductible. It didn’t make sense when the attendant showed me a chart of how patients are charged according to which insurance they have. I just went for my six months of follow-up testing at MD Anderson in Houston and I didn’t even pay $200 for the testing do

This was my first time using CareNow, and not my last. I was very happy with the cleanliness and a pleasing decor of the office, as a first impression. The staff were all very professional and kind. The medical personnel knew what they were doing, and how to quickly diagnose my condition. Thank you!

The care service and treatment was great and very helpful but billing was the issue. I had gone in for a minor injury and was charged in total for everything about $270 which was fine but 2 weeks later I was charged middle of the night for $180 and when I had called to ask why I was directed to a call center and when I had asked why I was charged 2 weeks later for an additional $180 I was given different reasons such as they had forgotten to charge me extra for my visitation and a different reason that they had forgotten to charge me for the administration of a shot and that I had only payed for the shot previously and not the administration of it I was charged, billed, and given the recept for the services that I had payed for and was charged extra 2 weeks later for an apparent mistake on

I trust this clinic so much as well as their staff. I came feeling so dreadful and horrid but I left feeling so well taken care of. The staff and doctors are so kind and professional. Their empathy truly shines through and they do their outmost best for those who come seeking help.

I had a great experience at this urgent care facility. The doctor took the time to explain everything thoroughly and made sure I understood my treatment plan. The rest of the staff was very respectful, professional, and straight to the point, which I really appreciated. The entire process was quick, efficient, and smooth from start to finish. I would definitely recommend this urgent care to anyone in need of prompt and quality care.
