In a difficult transition of life, Careline Hospice has been extraordinary in their level of care and service. Each Careline representative has shown sincere tenderness and sensitivity to my father as he has adapted into Assisted Living/Memory Care. Even through his outbursts when in fear, Careline had handled dad with heart-warming dignity as though they themselves were a member of our own family. Also in his happy moments (as we had learned through facility staff), our Careline team has brought wonderful joy to dad when our family could not always be with him. For these reasons, we find great comfort in Careline Hospice services. Thank you Careline in your profound care of our loved one.

Being an RN for many years I have over 18 years experience with hospice and palliative care. Care line hospice by far was the worst patient care I have ever witnessed. My grandmother went without morphine during her actively dying stage due to “ we are trying to locate the nurse. “ We waited four and a half hours after my grandma had passed before the hospice nurse arrived to pronounce her death. No compassion, multiple delays and additional stress that is not needed during this difficult time.

As my grandpa’s health declined, we trusted Careline to take over his care and monitor his declines. The staff at Careline are outstanding. They showed up when we needed them, didn’t leave until grandpa and family were comfortable. They provided comfort and education to help us understand what grandpa was going through. Every staff member for the nurses, to the CNAs and social worker, were kind and caring. It was obvious that they truly cared about our family. My family needed the support so much, and Careline was there with it every step of the way. Grandpa passed peacefully, exactly how he wanted. Without Careline, I know it all would’ve been much more difficult and I wouldn’t have had the support I needed. We all needed Careline. I am forever grateful for their care.

My father was in an Assisted Living Center which convinced me to sign up for Careline rather than take him to his own physician. In speaking with Careline prior to signing up with their services, I informed them he was not on any prescribed drugs and was extremely healthy for his age. His primary care physician only required an annual visit, cut down from every six months, once he became familiar with my father's health. I told Careline he did not need weekly, bi-monthly, or monthly visits and requested that I be notified PRIOR to any visit that would incur an expense as he does not have supplemental insurance to his Medicare A&B.
