CareFirst Urgent Care - Symmes

On January 3rd around 7:00 PM, I brought my 10-month-old baby to your urgent care with fever, throat swelling, loss of voice, vomiting, and poor appetite. From the moment we arrived, we were treated dismissively. Despite my child being clearly ill and distressed, the doctor stated that he could not examine a crying baby. He barely examined my child and then told me to give Tylenol at home or go elsewhere instead of providing proper medical care. I believe my child was denied appropriate medical treatment. This was unprofessional, negligent, and extremely upsetting. Sick babies cry. We came for urgent medical help and did not receive it.

This place is so bad. Sat waiting to be seen for 3 hours. With only two people ahead of me. Than another person comes in and complains and got seen before us who had been waiting. And than she walked out because it was taking so long. If you want to waste hours and money come here. If you want to be seen go somewhere else. Because they absolutely suck here. Ive never been to one that takes this long with almost no patients here. Doctor comes in and says he doesn't know how to use the computer to look at the xray when they finally did see me. Offered no help no diagnosis just shrugged his shoulders. His absolute lack of care was insane. Hes a nurse practitioner that had no clue how to do anything in the office or how to interact I've never been to a medical facility that was a complete joke

If you want to go to a great place where you feel like you’re understood and treated with care and compassion DO NOT GO HERE! The staff wasn’t friendly or compassionate. I waited over 2 hours to be told there is nothing that can be done. They were not busy, they had no sense of urgency. I went there because I am severely and utterly sick 8/10. I was told to take over the counter medication when I already told them I have been taking over the counter medicine and it wasn’t helping. Told to wait it out for 5-7 days, but if it gets worse come back. It’s sad to think this is what healthcare has become. I don’t have a-lot of money so a $50 copay is a big deal to me, I went there for some help and got nothing. I will not be returning and I highly do not recommend. Save your time and money.

Horrible experience with the office manager. She couldn't verify my insurance because of her system, I called the insurance company, had them on speaker phone, they verified the insurance and offered to call her and she told them "you don't need to call me". She couldn't get her system to work and told me there was nothing she could do. I then asked her could we go ahead and get my son seen who is very ill and she can bill me or I can pay upfront. She then began throwing her clipboard, slamming things down and yelling at me telling me Im not her customer and this is HER office. absolutely embarrassed me in front of my son and other patients. Dr & medical staff was great Office manager was rude and disrespectful.

This place is AWFUL THEY TREATED ME LIKE I WAS COMPLETELY INCOMPETENT OF KNOWING MY OWN BODY AND MEDICATIONS I HAVE TAKEN HALF OF MY LIFE IT WAS THE NURSE PRACTITIONER AND SHE WAS THE RUDEST SUPPOSED TO BE " MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL" THAT I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED I SHOULD NOT LEAVE A DOCTORS OFFICE IN TEARS Because of the medicine that is PRESCRIBED BY REAL DOCTORS WHO ACTUALLY DESERVE THEIR DEGREE IF I COULD GIVE 0 STARS I WOULD THIS PLACE IS A JOKE TO THE MEDICAL COMMUNITY
