CareFirst Urgent Care - Kenwood

This urgent care business is the most money-hungry, duplicitous business I've ever encountered in the healthcare field. Firstly, they *will* charge you and your insurance as specialist physicians on your insurance. I did not see any doctors on my visit and was billed $200 for a visit that would have cost me $15 at trihealth, mercy, or UC. Secondly, they have shared my medical information with individuals unrelated to my care in the past. If you are reading this, I strongly recommend that you avoid the entire carefirst chain. If you do go and this happens to you, I recommend filing a complaint with your insurance company because surprise healthcare costs are against the law in the United States. Had an eyelid infection, my PCP had no idea what to tell me and gave me antibiotic drops that I was allergic to. I headed to urgent care for help and was impressed. The doctor was very helpful, knowledgeable, and kind. She knew what it was quickly. medical assistant and front desk staff were also friendly and helpful. I would say this is a very good urgent care. I always get excellent care and service at Care First Urgent Care Deer Park. They are always pleasant and professional while delivering great care. I appreciate the fact that they listen closely to me and offer their expertise on how to address the issue. I’m always confident in the care I will receive.

Everyone that I encountered here was great. Compassionate, kind, and I was comfortable. I will be back if I need healthcare again. The receptionist was polite, the MA was very kind and the NP was just overall very pleasant and patient. Highly recommend.

Their staff is so kind and welcoming. Dr.christian is so cute. He listened to me and answered all my questions. They are professional and really seem to care about their patients. I highly recommend this place.
