I am SO happy Dr. Sarter is my Doctor. I was recommended to him by the Top Cardiologist from Doylestown Pennsylvania Hospital to go to him? So happy I did. The Doctor I had from a different practice wasn't so good. I would have died under his care.

I had a pericardial effusion for a year and almost 3 months. They treated me with cochicine which did not help. My symptoms grew worse and I asked for echos every 4 months or so which confirmed the effusion was the same or more. The last time I was in the office speaking of how tired I was Dr Weiss seemed puzzled and said we could do a sleep study to see if that could be the reason. That’s when I decided to get a 2nd opinion. I went to cardiology consultants who within 3 Weeks or so performed a pericardiocentesis. When the fluid returned again Dr Shakir ordered a heart MRI which indicated ejection fraction of 37% and restriction. I was sent to the emergency room where it was determined I needed a pericardectomy. I am now recuperating at home from that procedure. It is my firm belief that i

I had an interesting visit with one of CP's nurse practitioners. Routine visit, EKG, etc. Everything was fine. I asked for a script to measure LPa. Dr Copeland gave a script for it, but the lab made a mistake and measured LPA which is not the same as LPa. I have a family history of heart disease, and my Dad just passed from a failing replacement heart valve so as you can imagine, I take cardiac health seriously. The NP and no one else at the practice caught the mistake, but I did. No problem. I then asked to include in the script a full lipid profile. I'm going to get my blood drawn, why not run the whole thing? The NP had no problem with LPa, but she flatly refused to give a script for the other lipids saying it "did not fit the guidelines."
