Carbon Health Urgent Care Temecula

I was not feeling too well, It’s Friday evening 5 o’clock and I was in automation hell with my doctor’s office on the phone I could not get through and was dreading the weekend of illness. After sitting down at my computer and remembering I had been to Carbon Health office once before that was conveniently located within 2 miles of my home and had had a very good experience when they first opened here on Temecula Parkway. From my computer I made an appointment online from a list of appointments. Within 15 minutes I walked in to a nice clean facility with a very pleasant young lady attending to me taking my information. I wish I could remember her name. I just wasn’t feeling that well. I was immediately called back being weighed in, vitals taken by another efficient professional young

My appointment making was easy. There is an office less than 10 minutes from my home. I was brought back to a room within 10 minutes max. The NP was attentive and listened to me. She included me in my care plan and both the NP and medical assistant had a great bedside manner. By the time I left the office, I got a message that my Rx was being processed. It could not have gone any smoother.

I checked in as a walk-in recommended by my previous urgent care I had been going to. The facility is impressive, very clean and orderly. I was checked in promptly, waited a few minutes for my vitals and screening. Provider Amy Causey saw me after that, very professional, discussed my medical situation, prescribed medications and offered breathing treatment which helped tremendously. Thank you Carbon Health staff for taking care of me.

I would have preferred to not need urgent care on a Saturday morning but that’s not how it played out. I was able to get an appointment within an hour. They got me right back. And I had my vitals taken and was being seen by the PA at the time my appointment was set for. I felt safe and respected during the process and my concerns were taken seriously. I had an unexpected reaction to the treatment and it could have been really embarrassing but again I was made to feel respected and safe while they made sure I was okay. They then made me comfortable while I waited for a family member to come get me (I was mostly fine but in an abundance of caution was recommended I didn’t drive for a while) I hope you don’t need urgent care, but if you do, this is where you want to go.

Robert is a very knowledgeable Nurse Practitioner. He was professional and listened to my description of my problem. His plan for my treatment included a follow up visit which I really appreciate. Thank you to everyone on staff that helped me today.
