Carbon Health Urgent Care North Hollywood - NoHo West

A very nice, clean urgent care that’s great for kids as they have coloring books, a treasure box, and a very kind, gentle staff that’s good with children. We’ve been here twice and both times we were taken in quickly with barely any waiting time. The doctor was thorough, attentive, knowledgeable, and helpful.

I will definitely be visiting again if I have any urgent care health needs, because this experience exceeded my expectations. The clinic is clean, safe and modern. I get nervous visiting any clinic due to medical biases in the past. I felt so understood and my health was valued by Dr Chung. Thank you. She offered a non judgmental attitude and ordered all necessary tests. The appointment took no longer than an hour.I was able to view my results on the Carby app within days, this is the best feature in my opinion most clinics offer no portal. I just scheduled my follow up appointment virtually . I didn’t have a co-pay and all tests were covered by my insurance as I called prior to make sure. This was my first time visiting Carbon Health Urgent Care North Hollywood - NoHo West, and I had a great experience overall. I went in for ear pain and called ahead to see if they took my insurance, and they were able to take me the same day, which I really appreciated. But they also accepted walk in’s. The woman who helped me over the phone was incredibly kind, helpful, and reassuring. Once I arrived, everything moved super quickly and the facility was spotless. The doctor was absolutely amazing—she was very kind, took her time explaining everything clearly, and made me feel completely at ease. I’ve visited this location several times for different reasons, and every experience has been wonderful. The staff are consistently friendly and welcoming. Hillary was especially pleasant and professional, helping me quickly and efficiently. Logan was also incredibly helpful during my visit today. I truly appreciate the excellent customer service!

Everybody was very polite and professional. I had a rib fracture from a fall. Acetaminophen and ibuprofen weren’t touching the pain. Apparently, Carbon Health has a policy against prescribing anything stronger. As an Emergency Physician myself, I know the wait times in emergency departments for just a rib fracture could be 8-12 hours (during cold and flu season), thus, the reason for going to urgent care. I was otherwise stable, but had incredible pain. It’s disappointing, they will not prescribe anything stronger, even for just a day or 2. I’m not a drug seeker, but even trying to move in bed with a rib fracture is horrific.
