I would not recommend Dr. Lemons. I am not sure what happened, but over the past couple of years, she’s become so unkind. I didn’t want to leave the practice because my kids have been there since they were born. But after several times of her treating them (especially my son) with such rudeness, I realized - we don’t have to stay with someone who makes us feel this way. Their pediatrician should be someone who cares about them and who they feel comfortable with. I don’t know if her personality has changed or if she just likes babies and toddlers and not school-aged kids, but I’ve talked to other parents who’ve had the same experience so it’s not just us. (My kids are easygoing and polite so it’s especially confounding.) I think the last straw was when I had to call after hours about an ur
If I could give zero stars, I would. I have taken my child here since he was born 7 years ago and today is the last day I will ever step foot in this office. I was running behind to get to my child’s appointment, as a parent we’ve all been there. I called prior to the appointment to inform them I was running late and going to get there about 1:30 for a 1:20 appointment. Receptionist says that’s fine as long as you’re here by 10 mins after the appointment, we can still take you. I walked into their office at 1:31. One min past… and the receptionist refused to have my child be seen and tells me I’ll need to reschedule. I’m not paying for a cancellation fee after driving a half hour in winter conditions because the office refuses to see the child after a 10 min delay. Their excuse is they onl
First of all, there’s no one to answer the phone or to even administer the initial questionnaires; no receptionist even for a 9am appointment. We spent spent 35 minutes waiting for someone to attend to us or even answer the door for us. I went inside the inner offices to see if anyone was inside. I finally found one with Dr. B. A. Strzalkowski inside . So, she’s been inside for 35 minutes we have been waiting for someone to answer us without even saying “hello”? She seemed irritated for asking if there was anyone we could talk to Secondly, when the so-called receptionist came in, she didn’t even behave like human beings were there. She simply walked passed us . Even my little boy who said good morning to her, she totally ignored him. We really felt horrible because that was our first
We have always had very positive experiences at CapitalCare Pediatrics. All the staff are excellent, including the receptionists, nurses, and doctors. The medical staff are great at making my now three-year-old comfortable enough to actually sit through an exam. We recently had a regular checkup scheduled, but our child woke up sick and they were able to immediately switch us to a sick kid visit later that same day. The nurse even got a nose swab and had our child giggling instead of freaking out! Even with Dr. Mike's retirement (our original pediatrician), we still bring our child here and will continue to do so.
I’ve been taking my premature infant here for pediatric care and they do an amazing job. There was one nurse though, Who kept telling me that my concerns were normal and that there was nothing wrong with my kid, and even gave me a huge attitude When I was respectful advocating for the fact that something was not right with my newborn. She ended up making an appointment with her Pediatrician, Dr Casey Feldman, who listened to all of my concerns, gave me 6 cans of formula that would sit with her stomach better until we figured out the issue, and even helped me carry the formula out to my car. Will definitely be sticking with Dr Feldman until she retires or drops us as a patient.
