i wrote a full review at the downtown location as that is where i went, and even though my experience with the staff there was poor, i don’t know how the staff at this location operated and feel it would be unfair to include that. however, because the doctor goes to both locations, i feel inclined to outline at least that experience on this locations review. the doctor often talked down to me, and if you go, be prepared to spend 1+ hour there each time, as he would continuously talk for that long, including conversations that were, at best, right wing adjacent, ie saying things to the effect of “doctors in 2020 didn’t know what they were doing”, etc. that being said, for a while i dealt with the less than stellar conversational experience because i thought i was working with a doctor who

I recently visited eye doctor here for a routine eye exam and ended up ordering a new pair of glasses. Unfortunately, the initial pair didn't fit quite right due to the lab's standards, but the response to this hiccup was nothing short of fantastic. Upon my return, the staff welcomed me warmly, and my doctor went above and beyond by retesting my vision to ensure that my new glasses would be perfect. They even took additional measures to communicate my specific needs to the laboratory. During my visit, the doctor also shared fascinating insights into ophthalmology, which were as informative as they were engaging. I'm thoroughly impressed with the attentive and personalized care I received. It's clear that patient satisfaction is a top priority here, and I genuinely appreciate their commitme

Worst experience at a eye doctor. They charged me money for a contact exam when I already told doctor I had contacts. He gave me trial pair of a new brand he said just try them. I got a glasses exam decided to not go with there brands because they weren’t designer glasses or even appealing. Once they got word I wasn’t interested they decided to charge me $88 dollars for a contact exam just because my eye exam was free through insurance. When the doctor in no way did a contact exam on me. I came back a week later picked a pair of frames which was said to be ready in a week and ended up being 2 weeks. I called multiple times to pick my glasses and no answer or call back. I had to drive up to receive my glasses. Horrible customer service. Poor selection of glasses. Overall you can do better a

Dr. McSurdy is a super doctor, highly intelligent with a wide range of knowledge. He has always answered all my questions in layman's terms, never talking over my head. I always enjoy every conversation & office visit. Brittany is great at helping pick out glasses that are flattering. I love my current pair & get lots of compliments.

Generally, there are rules to the small talk that a doctor would engage a patient in. Really these rules apply to everyone in any polite social situation. But for a doctor in particular you would expect certain topics to be avoided. The forbidden topics are of course Religion and Politics. Everyone knows this. Well, not anyone it would seem. With no encouragement at all from me, it felt I was in a 2 hour eye exam with Sean Hannity. Perhaps it was my fault. My wife warned me that you were a talker, and that you liked Star Trek. Instead of steering you in any particular direction I just let you go. And boy, did you go. I went in for an eye exam not a Trump rally featuring bullet points from Fox news. I will never be visiting your office again. You had your total lack of professionalism on di
