Capital Region Urology - Albany

My rating is solely based on the provider I saw. The front desk and nurses were polite, friendly and welcoming. I was scheduled to see Dr. Maria Voznesensky in regards to my pelvic organ prolapse. I was barely examined. The conversation immediately shifted to my weight and she repetitively made the entire conversation about my weight. It became a talk of WeGovy, gastric sleeve surgery, etc. She stated she would never operate on someone with my BMI. I proceeded to ask why she would have me come into the office with my chart information…. Just to get a copay? Ridiculous. I had two kids within the last 3 years and have gained 60-70 pounds. Canceled my appointment because i was 4 minutes late. Drove over an hour and waited over a month for the lady at the desk laugh to and say if i had wanted the appointment i wouldn't have been 4 minutes late. Avoid St Peters, Avoid Captial region, and AVOID DR VASS they are incapable of any form of professionalism.

I think the care was good but every appointment I ever had was rescheduled to another date. The office never checked with me to see if the rescheduled date would work for me, they just told me that was the new date. Additionally, it is impossible to get through to anyone on the phone (ever). Life is stressful enough when you have cancer CRU's way of doing things just makes it that much worse.

I see Kristen DiCelli, NP. Wonderful. Very knowledgeable. Great communicator. May be difficult to get an appt so call ASAP and often. The practice schedulers do a almost a too good of a job of protecting the schedule.

Complete waste of time. Most unprofessional service I’ve ever received at a doctor. The front desk was rude, condescending and in no matter helpful. They canceled my appointment three times the day prior and then kept me waiting for over an hour in the waiting room to tell me to reschedule. Place really needs help and a new front desk staff.
