I cannot say enough good things about my experience in the Emergency Department today. I came in anxious, dehydrated, and in pain, and I was immediately taken seriously and brought back without having to sit in a packed waiting room — which alone meant the world to me. The nursing staff was compassionate, professional, and human. They explained everything clearly, checked on me often, and somehow managed to make me laugh during a moment that could have been very frightening. The provider listened carefully, ordered the right tests, and found the cause of my symptoms quickly. I felt seen, respected, and genuinely cared for as a person — not just a chart. From triage, to imaging, to medications, to discharge, the entire team worked efficiently and with kindness. Today could have been a

When you walk into this hospital you are greeted by security who do an outstanding job checking bags and making sure everything is safe. The people who work behind the information counter are always polite and helpful. The nurses and doctors who work the ER are very well trained at their jobs something I was very grateful for when I had to visit this last week. Even down to the person who runs the gift store and the people who work in the cafe, everyone works to help all who visit with a smile or a nice greeting. This hospital is the best in the area and I’m lucky to be here today because of the people who work here. Thank you Capital Health Trenton.

I went to the er in August because I fell down the stairs, they did X-rays and i was told that I broke my tubular and tubular bone (I needed surgery). But they made it seem like it wasn’t a big deal, I found out that they didn’t wanted to send me for surgery because of my insurance. 2 weeks later I went back because I couldn’t bare the pain and my foot was purple. All they told me was that there was nothing they could do, I finally found a doctor that when they did X-rays they told me I had 5 broken bones. I went to st. Michael hospital in Newark nj and they helped me right away and had to do emergency surgery. This nurses and doctors in this hospital do not care and always have an attitude. This hospital is horrible and don’t get me wrong not everyone but the emergency room is horrible. My mom had a nurse Amber and she didn’t want to do anything she sat down and played on the computer or went into hiding . They had a good nurse Laura but you can tell she’s overwhelmed. Instead of nurses helping each other, they are like well she’s not assigned to me if the patient is a fall risk and needs assistance getting to the bathroom it’s not I don’t have her. Then don’t get me started with ordering food from the cafe some ppl don’t even get their food!! My mom was on a liquid diet she called down for lemon icee they said they would send it up literally 2hr no one came never even brought it to her. Have been on call for more than 60mins today for rescheduling an appointment given by ER duty doctor. Every one passing the phone to HopeWell, RMC and ER again and agin and no ownership. Not sure how they operate with this much communication gap. Finally EVA listened to my requirement, gathered all data and guided. But it is a painful experience.Appreciate EVA, Christiana, Rachel, Marykay,& Kamisha
