Cape Fear Valley - Health Pavillion North Express Care

I received excellent care on Friday 1/9/2025. The wait time was very short including my treatment. All staff members were very helpful and professional. I truly enjoyed my visit and speaks very highly to people I know and others I pass along the way.

I visited this express care for apparently something they don't have the equipment to treat. I have a swollen left calf as well as varicose veins which is preventing me to be able to walk or run and it's an excruciating pain of 10. However as I was triage before seeing a doctor I assumed I would need an xray but the triage nurse informed I probably won't need that because I didn't hit it or have an trauma that would require it; more likely I would need a MMRI or CAT SCAN .... HOWEVER HE DID NOT MENTION THAT THEY DON'T OFFER THIS SERVICE ON THE WEEKENDS. As I'm in the back with the doctor Ms Lewis she asked what was going on? On October 15, 2025, I visited the Express Care of Health Pavilion North at 6387 Ramsey Street in Fayetteville, NC, seeking treatment for what I believed to be a broken toe. During intake, I was assisted by a staff member named Doug. He informed me that my Tricare for Life insurance could not be used because it was “Tricare for Life Direct” and, according to him, only valid at military facilities. He declined to process my Tricare paperwork and set it aside, stating that I would be using Medicare only and required to pay a $50 co-pay, which I did. When I was seen by the triage nurse, I asked whether there had been a policy change regarding Tricare. She replied that she was unfamiliar with Tricare policies but noted that I was not the first patient to raise this concern. After leaving th

My daughter was seen here on 2/4/26 and was told she was fine, just some asthma with exacerbation. Prescribed a cough medicine and she’s does not have a cough or any symptoms the cough medicine would treat. My wife carried her to pediatrician today she has severe Pneumonia with a lot of fluid in her right lung. The medical field is inundated with people who do not take the proper steps and time to truly diagnose. I’m so sick and tired of stuff like this. The Pneumonia could have been caught 2 days ago if someone would have done the proper job.

Third time using this express care for one of my children and they’ve been EXCELLENT every single time and I’m very thankful for them. They diagnosed my 5 year olds pneumonia before it got out of control and I’m so thankful. We have a primary care doctor but this is my new go to for after hours urgent care. The wait is nothing compared to the emergency room - maybe wait an hour or two at this clinic. The staff is very nice and thorough.
