Cape Fear Valley General Surgery – Village Surgical

From start to finish, my experience was truly exceptional. The admission and pre‑testing staff were incredibly welcoming and set such a positive tone right from the beginning. Every nurse I interacted with was kind, attentive, and genuinely made me feel cared for. The anesthesia team was just as wonderful calm, reassuring, and great at explaining everything in a way that made the entire day feel easy and comfortable. Dr. Nordberg was absolutely amazing as well. His professionalism and warm bedside manner made me feel safe, confident, and completely at ease throughout the whole process. I’m genuinely grateful for the entire team. They took an already awesome day and made it even better with their kindness, skill, and support. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Had my gallbladder removed March of 2025 and just recently a hernia repair in January 2026..... Both procedures were done by valley general surgery and Dr. Carter! Absolutely totally phenomenal service done by valley surgery staff and Dr. Carter!!I could not have been more pleased.. thankful and grateful for the professionalism and the service they provided!!! they are the best!!! they rock!! I would recommend them to anyone!!!😁😁😁👍👍

I was very impressed with the surgical team and the pre - op team. They took very good care of me and made sure I had what I needed while waiting to be taken back to the surgery room. Afterwards, they looked after me and made sure I was ok to go home. Great group of people!

Dr. Nordberg and his team is so professional, friendly and knowledgeable! I haven’t had my surgery yet, but so far, so good, the experience has been none other than seamlessly easy. They have made me feel so confident and no doubt in my mind that everything should be fine when I go into surgery!

Everyone at Cf General-Village surgery were great! Easiest surgery I have ever had. A special Thank you to Dr. Sawyer, Hunter Hudson PAC, and everone in the office. I had my surgery at FASC. Dr Perry, Anesthesiologist was great as well as everyone there. Thank you to everyone from the business office, front desk, Preop, OR, to Pacu. Everyone was very professional and understanding. Would definitely recommend this office and Dr. Sawyer as well as FASC.
