California Post Acute

First time I visited my relative I was amazed that there was no stench, my relative looked and smelled clean. The facility was clean and no stench was detected at all no matter where I walked, in the hallways the rec room, it was all good and passing by or standing with other patients close by, all were clean, and without stink. Why can't other facilities be like this. One staff member at a different facility where my husband was temporarily said that 12-15 patients were assigned to one CNA and all the assigned patients were changed once or twice during that one CNAs shift. I stayed every night and made sure he was changed asap, not stagnating causing rash, discomfort.

I visited California post acute in 2009, when i worked across the street. I can tell you California post Acute has come along way from the building to the staff. The building looks alot better now, it's clean it doesn't smell and is well organized. The staff is very nice and attentive to the residents needs and very helpful with the residents family. I was pleasantly surprised when I walk through the doors and I was immediately greeted by the staff. Thank you California post acute you're doing amazing. Keep up the great job!

I can't honestly say the phone thing was not fun when contacting the facility to talk to my dad 😡but I can definitely speak on Monica😬 who is from admissions because when it came to placing my dad she was very informative and she always called back right away and took care of things and so understanding and friendly. thank you Monica for your help and thank you all for helping us and wishing you all the best...

So much to say about this place. The smells, the overwhelming stench of urine, old facility that has multiple coats of paint. The staff is underpaid, which explains why it is in the condition it is. Care is mediocre at best, three patients to a cramped room that should only have two patients max. I’m disgusted every time I come see my aunt and worry about her care here.

My orientation at California Post Acute was amazing! The staff is very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this place from bare heart.
