California Orthopaedic Specialist

I am a plastic surgeon in Newport Beach with over 20 years in practice. I recently sustained a shoulder and rib injury during sports and sought care at California Orthopaedic Specialists based on a prior excellent experience with Nicolas Ros, M.D., who previously treated my broken finger with outstanding care and professionalism. For this new injury, I was referred to his colleague, Theodore Gregorius, M.D.. I provided my PPO insurance information when scheduling and was given an appointment one week later. Upon arrival, I was informed at the front desk that my insurance was not accepted and that I would need to pay $400 cash to be seen. With no prior notice and already present, I paid. Never thought I'd be writing a 5 star review for a drs office. This place has blown me away with their ease of scheduling, friendly staff, and efficiency. I was unhappy with my experience at other orthopedic specialists in the area and luckily ended up under the care of Dr. Weinstein and Dr. Rose. They both understood my concerns and executed a plan for my recovery. Even Dr. Rose's PA, Mike, made me feel so comfortable during my aspiration (and I hate needles). So impressed by the staff here - they're genuine people. The front desk even has the best soft mint candies! I don't have one bad thing to say. I highly recommend this practice!

I am 5 years out from a very successful back surgery performed by Dr. Weinstein. From my first contact with his assistant and first appointment, I knew I had finally found the right Doctor. I could barley walk when I showed up for my first visit, seeing handrails in their hallway was an indication that they understand their business! 5 years later I'm running, golfing and working. I can't imagine how different my life would be had I not gone to Dr. Weinstein.

Love these guys! I had a torn meniscus on my left knee that was getting worse and worse. After the MRI, I decided to come here because of 2 of my friends that recommended COS. 3 months after rehab, I'm better than I was for the previous 2 years on my knee. I'm almost back to running my 730/ mile and will soon be able to get back to squats in the gym. Highly recommend.

Dr. G did both my knee and shoulder after being in an accident as well as my wife's shoulder. Awesome guy. Really knows his stuff.
