Cactus Pediatric Orthopaedics/Kids' Fracture Care

Great experience up until it wasn't. We switched insurances just prior to the last follow-up appointment. Despite my new insurance being an open-network PPO that pays posted rates (which, 99% of the time, are more generous rates than what the doctor would collect from contracted 'big carrier insurances'), they are refusing to schedule us an appointment unless we agree to pay out of pocket upfront. My insurance even called them to arrange prepayment and do a one-time contract via Letter of Agreement and nope. Not an option. I find this arrogant and slap in the face of continuity-of -care for an ESTABLISHED patient who needed a follow-up appointment. For the amount of money they have collected over the full course of this injury and treatment, I would have expected more of a patient-cente

The woman who answered the phone (she very conveniently doesn't give her name out) should probably not be working in a pediatric office, to be quite frank. She started out nice, and then got an attitude with me after I explained to her why we were being referred to their office in the first place. Her attitude got even worse when she realized what insurance my son has. The tone of her voice was VERY discriminatory. When we work in pretty much any field, but especially the medical fields, we do not and cannot discriminate.

We went to a well known place in Gilbert after daughter had fractured her ankle(s). The recovery process was ongoing. After months and months in a boot, we finally got a 2nd opinion. Dr. Hrusky gave a no-nonsense approach to her recovery and assessment. She walked out of office that day with no boot, prescribed a good walking shoe, and that was it. Follow up appointments have been wonderful. Attentive staff, very welcoming. Can’t recommend this spot enough!

First class service. Glad I was able to take my child here and feel confident that she was getting the best care possible.

Cactus was absolutely the greatest to our 10 year old daughter who took a spill on her bike and broke her arm. Miss Kori and Mr Trent provided A++ treatment and made sure our daughter felt safe and secure. Wonderful folks.
