Burleson St Joseph Manor

I want to give a special shoutout to Shanika! She goes above and beyond to have such a sweet relationship with my great grandma Doris Balcar. She knows so many things about my grandma’s life, dances with her, and calls her a friend. I can tell my grandma really lights up around her. Thank you for going above and beyond to make this place so warm and fun!

This plus sucks. My 81 year old aunt was at the manor for a few weeks, after being at CHI St. Joseph's in Bryan after hip and femur repair surgery. Certain things came up missing from her room, something I had heard goes on there. In addition, she would be sitting in her own filth for a long time, after staff claimed residents were changed every two hours. Complete lie. My aunt always said that some of the staff were rude to her. She would ring for staff while she was stuck in bed, unable to get up, and staff claimed they'll be right there and never show up. Complete bs. All residents there are in need of care, 24/7 and most of the staff act like they don't want to be there 🙄. Surely something will done ASAP to rectify this. If things keep escalating, this place will not last. Ve

They have a fun and loving staff! This is a great place in the Caldwell area that provides great care for their residents.

My sister was at the Manor after breaking her hip. I had some concerns which I will not go into now. I have had communications with the new director and I believe she is very sincere about making things better.

The folks at St. Joseph's Manor did a very good job for our family prior to Covid and continued to do so when Covid upended all our lives. There are so few left in our family and those that remain have medical problems so visitation during Covid has been limited. But the nurses and staff are wonderful in keeping us posted and taking care of our loved ones needs. Also, I think the nursing home is well maintained and, prior to Covid, had a lot of activities for the residents that were able to participate.
