Sounds great but $75 just for the office visit? That’s more than some metropolitan areas and this is Burk of all places. Wichita Falls cost of living ain’t “cheap” as people acting like they’re in the city.

My husband and youngest son had to rush our juvenile cat to be seen for an emergency visit. The situation was as such there was no time for a call ahead. The Dr and techs were headed out and stopped in there tracks to help them. I will spare the details. We are in so much pain and shock. These guys are extraordinary people. I can tell you they experience the pain we do. Everyday, with every visit like ours. My heart goes out to them and I appreciate them so much. Teresa genuinely helped me through this very painful experience with just a kind chat. I really wish you all at Burk animal hospital more joyful days ahead. You deserve it. You deserve so much. Dr Brown has taken care of my 16 year old dogs since they were puppies. Sadly we had to put one to sleep recently. Dr Brown and his staff was empathetic with my husband and I as we loved on our sweet Waylon Jennings McGill in his last moments. I hope Waylon heard us because he was in the middle of a violent seizure. When his ashes came back they were in a beautiful wooden box with his name plate on top. Thank you Dr Brown & staff for being there with us during this unexpected traumatic death.

Dr.Brown saw my baby on Christmas Eve. She was in alot of pain, sick to her tummy. Thank you Dr. Brown for caring for my baby on short notice& Christmas Eve.

Today has been a day. A Friday to be exact. My sweet 14 year old Westie has a sensitive tummy. So, when she threw up in the hallway on Wednesday night, I thought she had just gotten a bit pukey. Then this morning I woke up to very nasty poo in the hallway. She wouldn't get up. Couldn't stand, couldn't walk. She was panting and shaking and I was scared. I called my vet (PETS clinic) and they couldn't get her in. Said I would have to bring her to the after hours clinic which would cost $125 before any care could be administered. I'm not a bad pet owner. But I had no clue how much everything was going to cost and unfortunately, I am not rich. So, I called another vet she has been to (Western Hills) and was told again, too bad, come in after hours. There, it was going to be $300 for the visit
