Buderer Drug Co.

I have been receiving my compounded medication from Buderer for over 6 months now. It has always been a long process between my doctor electronic prescribing it and them having to fax for clarification, but I have always received it after the long process. My last prescription was electronically prescribed TWICE, they couldn’t find it , I called the Avon location and they received / confirmed it sent over to Sandusky location earlier in the day. I called the Sandusky pharmacy back to tell them that Avon sent it over and the representative thought I was on hold. I could hear them talking about me in the background, one female said“ ARE YOU SERIOUS , I JUST talked to her!!?”, using a derogatory tone and then I hear someone say “ go do a couple laps and keep her on hold a few minutes” and a

My son’s doctor prescribed a one-month supply of his medication, which was covered by insurance. Instead, this company shipped a leaking package with less than a week’s supply. When I called, I was told that this “small amount” was meant to last two weeks, and that they only send it in two-week portions—charging $28 plus shipping each time, which was more than the amount I was paying in cash before insurance when I first started with this company. The shipping cost ended up being more than the medication itself. This is unacceptable. I told them I will no longer continue with my son’s prescription through them and that I will continue with the old pharmacy I was with!

A Lifesaver During a Difficult Time A few months ago, our son was sick, and we found ourselves in a tough spot needing a specific medication. I had the exact opposite experience than the review by Renae Harris. I had been a customer for many years. I phoned for a refill early Monday morning and explained that I needed it by Wednesday at closing time 6 pm) as we were leaving for our “second honeymoon”. They said Wednesday morning that it would be done, but when I called about 5pm they said one of the ingredients hadn’t come until 4pm and they didnt have time to fill it. Now I’m a retired dentist and I had office hours too, but in a situation where one of my long-time patients needed something badly, you can be sure I was there to help!!
