The staff at Bucks Ortho is excellent! However, my review is about Doctor Vikoren specifically. From the first day I met him he was very thorough in explaining everything that was going on with my knee. He let me know that I needed to lose weight to have surgery. He guided me with how much, what my bmi needed to be and even directed me to possible other weight loss options. I finally realized that losing weight was easier that walking around in this much pain. I lost the weight and had the surgery. I was amazed at the job he did. I was walking unassisted (no case/walker) in 3 days and driving in 7 days and it was my right knee. I know not everyone with have the flawless experience I had because every knee is different but IMO Doctor Vikoren is the reason my surgery was so successful. He e

Left a review on WEBMD - but they didn't have this location listed - so - for this location The staff was rather rude. For some reason when I called to schedule an appointment, the scheduler changed my name from Alex to Alexander - without telling me. At the office, I gave my insurance card to the front desk woman - I heard her muttering to herself, sounding confused (probably because the names didn't match) and instead of asking me to clarify, carried on using the wrong name. She also never requested my driver's license to verify my identity. When they called me by the wrong legal name to go back to the room, I corrected them. The woman who worked at the front desk commented "we don't have to call you by your full name, we can call you by your preferred shorter name" as if I was just bein

I visited this office for a knee issue. Dr Mattern was very nice and he informed me that I needed surgery for a torn meniscus. He also said that I didn’t have much arthritis and I was a good candidate for surgery. Trying to set up the appointment for the surgery was almost impossible and his staff was unbelievably rude!! I called and left messages for 4 days straight with the surgical dept. They never returned my calls! I finally called the main number to schedule an appointment. This staff member was very apologetic and she reached out to the surgical scheduling staff. When the girl from surgical scheduling called me back she was nasty and rude. It is always a pleasure to have an appointment with Dr Steere. His staff is pleasant and efficient. Dr Steere is friendly and easy to talk to. He is caring and attentive and answers questions fully. Dr steere replaced both of knees within the last year, and couldn’t have had a better experience.

Dr. Sheltzer is sn excellent doctor. He is courteous ,kind and compassionate and is great at explaining in relatable language the problem(s)which are presenting themselves and solution (s) as how best to address them.
