BSA Hospital ER

While my daughter’s symptoms were treated and addressed, we had no communication from the hospitalist except for during intake and as we were being discharged. All communication can in the form of text updates about orders rather than fro. Staff. If felt very impersonal. We sat for over an hour waiting to CT only to find out they were looking for us in the waiting room (because BSA’s MO is now triage from the waiting room and leave you out there instead if on a room. When we were shuffled from a triage room to another waiting area, CT finally was able to locate us. I will say the nursing staff and CT team were kind, compassionate, and wonderful with my daughter who hates needles, but I left feeling like we were numbers in a page rather than valued patients. Thank you for an excellent experience for our daughter while she was here .we appreciate the nursing staff and the way they took care of us and made us feel like we were the only patient here at the hospital. i’m seeking legal action against this hospital for the way i was treated last night. i had a pathetic excuse of a nurse call me and my roommate “crippled” many, many times. i was laughed at by the same nurse and she made jokes about us both being in crutches at the same time. cuss words were used, when i was asked what happened she said she “called bullshit”. my roommate and i were laughed at on the way out of the hospital because of how we struggled to leave in crutches holding our belongings. was offered no assistance leaving the building with my broken foot

The staff in the ER and my ultrasound tech were all very sweet! Although they were very busy, I appreciate the care and comfort they provided during my visit.❤️

I have had previous visits to the ER for other reasons. Each time I have gone before this weekend. We have been treated quick, with care, and compassion. From the nurse practitioner to the whole health care that attended to us. A month ago I took my daughter in for croup. Ryan Chisum did exactly what a nurse practitioner is supposed to do and acted quick did a full assessment. He did the whole works. So for that I am grateful. Fast forward to this past weekend. I ended having to take my daughter in for fast respirations, fever, cough mind you she is 2 years old. We got to the back and nurse practioner Aprile Lee saw us. She stated my daughter looked good because she wasn't retracting. Okay but she's working harder to breathe. Got a chest xray done was sent back to the waiting room. 3 hour
