My head and shoulder was pinned under the tire of an 8400 lb. truck, I broke my top left rib, kicking and thrusting my body out, and tearing my left ear halfway off. I healed up nicely and I'm very lucky to talk about it. I am a 56 year old mason by trade and previous weight lifter. Sometimes moving +1800lbs. in a day, that's just the masonry. Dr. Kemler was very knowledgeable in weight lifting and the understanding of the amount of effort needed to function in this format. Luckily I don't need surgery. I really like Dr. Kemler. He was very thorough and patient with me. He was very attentive. He addressed all my concerns and answered all my questions. I look forward to seeing him again. I feel comfortable with him.

I had a great experience with my doctor. He seemed very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. He did not rush the appointment and I was comfortable with how he explained my diagnosis (he explained in layman terms). Everyone from the front desk to the end of my appointment, was very nice.

At this visit, I was 5 days post op, and this was an unplanned visit. I was a "hop in" (on crutches) and told Michelle, who was at the front desk what had happened. My surgery incision was open and bleeding. She took it very seriously and immediately went to the back to see if I can be seen. Dr.Duerden wasn't in clinic, so she got another provider, Dr. Kemler to agree to see me. It was a few minute wait, which I was expecting. But, I was taken back. I will say I'm typically pretty pain tolerant and strong, but I was in pain, a lot of it. Enough to cause me to cry, half way to the room. The dressing was rubbing on the open wound with each hop and it was an intense pain. Easily a 10/10. So, I had to stop crutching and cry, because it hurt so bad. Dr. Kemler was very easy to talk to. He gave me all the information I need to know about my rotator cuff problem, and explained the surgery procedure thoroughly.
