I have been dealing with chronic nerve pain for months and was severely low on two medications for nerve pain and muscle spasms. I went to Urgent Care to ask for a short-term supply (two days worth)/possible short-term remedy due to my normal doctor's office being closed until the following Monday. Dr. Lu treated me as if I was drug-seeking and completely undermined my pain. Mind you, the medications I was asking for were not at all psychoactive, nor did they get you high. I walked in, unable to sit down due to my sciatica, and explained to her that I had been dealing with excruciating 4-5 hour muscle spasms that prevented me from sleeping, even with over-the-counter pain meds added. Her response was to point out that the prescription bottles I'd brought in were already empty from a recen

If you have insurance, I’m sure this place is mostly ok. If you’re self employed like me and don’t have any, don’t come here. Their pricing isn’t forthright. Their billing is subjective. They don’t have a standard office visit charge for example. You basically just go in there and hope you don’t leave with a $500 charge. Nothing is up front. At checkout, when they told me how much I was being charged that day, I asked for a statement to see charges and they said they couldn’t give me one. What business can get away with invoicing you and not being able to say what you’re being charged for?! Anyway, I’d have to call “billing” at Bryan to get any answers. I called billing the following Monday. The lady listened and said “she’ll send it up to be reviewed”. So basically it’s lost in the

I came in with severe back pain and was hoping for any kind of relief. Not a single “medical professional” even asked about my back. They took my blood pressure twice and gave me a shot that did not work. It actually made the pain worse. I paid $100 copay to leave in worse condition. When I called them to ask why the shot was not working they were dismissive and hung up the call. I cannot articulate how disrespectful and unprofessional this institution is. They made me question modern medicine. I will never come back and I recommend finding somewhere else.

staff inside the clinic were a pleasure to work with, but it's impossible to get in contact with anyone for follow up due to lean staffing. i wish bryan facilities would let patients use the message system in mychart. i am past the time window for my diagnostic culture, but no nurses were available to speak to me when i called. i am concerned that my sample was lost as it is still not in the portal. 2 hours later, i missed their call by 10 minutes. i've now been on an additional hold for nearly an hour, which will probably end in another failed attempt at contact. navigating endless bureaucracy is the last thing i want to spend my day doing when im sick. if i could leave a message online or by phone, i could go about my day until a staff member has time. being a healthcare monopoly shoul

If you suffer with chronic pain and are in need of immediate assistance, I would go ANYWHERE except here. My husband (29M) suffers from acute sciatica and was in horrific levels of pain last Saturday, and came here to get his pain management prescriptions refilled as his doctor was out for the holiday. The medicine he takes is not something you can get high off of in the slightest - nevertheless, they saw this poor man in unimaginable pain and decided to treat him like a junkie, and refused to give him just a few pills to get through the holiday weekend. I believe "Drug-seeking" was the verbiage used on his file. He wasn't able to even sit down in the waiting room because of this pain - I have never seen this man brought to tears by pain and frustration, but the Bryan Urgent Care managed t
