I have been having heel pain for a while now. Finally went to my regular doc and they did xray- said I had heel spurs. Referred me to Iowa Ortho. I had seen Dr Trout for an ankle issue earlier this year, opposite leg. He is a nice doc, bedside manner is great, likes telling jokes, makes you feel comfortable. The only “issue” is wait time, but like every other time you see a dentist or medical doctor you have to wait. I would go back and see him again.
The staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Dr. Trout was easy to talk to and discussed my issue succinctly. Today he did the surgery to fix it.
Dr. Trout was very kind and listened to my concerns. He addressed all of them and has me on a good plan to fix up my foot. Highly recommend him!! Also all the staff at the office were very kind and friendly.
I am really impressed with Dr. Trout! He answered all my questions and was SO pleasant to talk to. Looking forward to getting my surgery done next week! Can't wait!
I hurt myself at work back in December 2024. I have been working with him throughout the healing process and he has been great. He listens, asks the right questions and even asks you if you have any questions for him. I actually got sick in the middle of a consultation and he came back later, went over everything again and was understanding.
