The service was ok. My concern is how many people esp. The elderly are the front desk workers are over charging or charging for services covered by their insurance. My mom had an exam, upon check the guy gave me a price of $354.00. I asked him how much does the insurance cover. He told me only the eye exam. I called Medicare, put them on speaker and asked how much does Medicare cover for her eye exam, before they answered he whispered I'll give them to you for $150. I ignored him and continued talking to the Medicare representative he whispered again $85.00. He changed the price 3 times after telling me the insurance only covered the eye exam. IHe told me the insurance doesn't cover for the type of lens she needs. I paid $85.00, but I'll be reviewing her EOB and if they paid 100%, I'm cal

By far the worst experience ever. This place is a joke they don’t meet any high expectations. The receptionist is rude and unprofessional does not have a pleasant personality. There’s a guy that works there which I am adding his picture. The receptionist will be added as well. And he doesn’t help what so ever I left my glasses with them for a whole month to fix and they never even sent it to the lab he lied because the receptionist told me they never did. That’s so unprofessional & I paid for what nothing. The glasses were not scratched when I gave it to him but then magically they were. The guy is extremely rude and loud for no reason like your services are garbage and the reviews are lies. Stay away from this unprofessional & stealing place. Dr Ailing himself was nice when I saw him but because of his staff I will not be returning to his office. I called to schedule my yearly exam and order contacts and was told that I had already ordered them and had no benefits left and didn’t qualify for an appointment. I told them this was untrue as I had absolutely no contacts and have been wearing the same worn out glasses for years. I was almost in tears, I work very hard for these benefits and I need to be able to see, contacts and glasses are not cosmetic for me. The person who answered the call was adamant that I couldn’t make an appointment, it felt like I was rushed off the phone. Dr. Aling is great. I have gone to other places in the past and always get an incorrect prescription but I have been to see him twice now and he gets it right every time. He takes the time to examine your eyes and listen to your issues. I would highly recommend him to anyone! The office staff are very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Great job!
