Bruckerhoff Internal Medicine Associates

Dr. Bruckerhoff is amazing! She is thorough, she listens, and she takes her time. Dr. Bruckerhoff is personable and makes you feel heard. I never feel rushed and I always feel comfortable and safe sharing any concerns I’ve been feeling about my health. Her staff is great as well! It’s always a pleasant experience when going to appointments.

Various issues: 1. During my physical, I brought up joint pain and Dr Bruckerhoff stopped me mid sentence to say that i need to make another appointment to discuss issues like that. When would be the right time to talk about issues you’ve noticed, if NOT a wellness check? 2. After getting bloodwork done, it is customary for doctors to leave notes and have the office give the patient a call with info on what their results are. I never got that info and called the office multiple times before someone from the office said I would need to make another appointment to get the blood test decoded, and only when I insisted I just wanted to understand what one result was, did they explain over the phone after multiple calls. 3. I have been seeing Dr Bruckerhoff since I was recommended there by my OB/GYN after developing high blood pressure when I delivered. I have been absolutely happy with her level of care. Every time I have been in she is incredibly thorough and one time I had a medical issue and she made time to see me same day and call in antibiotics. She very open minded and willing to work with you and gave me time to change my diet and exercise, we retested and didn’t have to get on medication. It’s definitely on me to keep working on my health and she is a great doctor. Very willing to listen. Highly recommend!

I don’t see how she gets these high reviews. The doctor is cold and clinical and the only time I’ve seen her smile is on her website where she peddles her products. Shes rude and condescending. I don’t need her to giggle or be my BFF, I expect courtesy. The most recent experience was last week. “If you’re feeling sick, reschedule your appointment.” I’m not making this up, I took a screenshot of the standard message sent with the appointment reminder. Where do you go if you’re sick? 😂😂😂

Dr. Bruckerhoff listens and is very thorough in her approach to medicine. She goes over my health history each time we meet to be sure nothing has changed. She is full of good advice that usually doesn't involve drugs, but will not hesitate to prescribe them when truly needed. I followed her practice from Midlothian to Mansfield and even modified my insurance so I could continue to see her because she has a pleasant, friendly manner and is very professional.
