Brown Memorial Home

I have to be honest. When my mother needed nursing care and Brown was the only place open, I was worried. I told myself it would be for a few weeks and she would be home. Long story short, she is now a resident and I'm glad that we are at Brown Memorial. The CEO, front office gals and social worker walked me through the process of transitioning my mom as i was overwhelmed with the process. The staff is always friendly when I visit (and I pop in a lot), my mom is kept clean, has made friends with residents and staff, goes on outtings, could probably start her own side hustle with all the crafts in her room(smile), church service on Sundays, live music a few times a month, Bingo, they even participate in the Circleville Pumpkin Show riding on a float. They provide her with rides to her appo

I'm a hospice nurse who cares for patients in this facility, from the aides, to the social worker, to management everyone has been amazing! They truly care for their residents and create a warm, welcoming feeling for all! I would recommend this facility to anyone.

This place is absolutely awful. I wouldn’t board my dog there let alone a loved one. Staff is unfriendly and uncaring. Call lights are ignored and showers are not completed, Stating residents refused, When they were never asked. It’s dirty and not maintained. Frequently has infection outbreaks such as Covid.

If your loved one is placed here, be advised they will only be getting 1 bath per week and no opportunity to daily clean themselves or brush their teeth if they are bed bound. Not the care we expected! Giving 1 star because they do serve meals....such as they are.

The facility is very warm and inviting and staff was caring to both my mother and family. I am glad that we had my mother transferred to this nursing home.
