Broward Health North

I recently had to take my mother to Broward Health North after suffering a stroke. I was amazed at how attentive, professional and caring the staff was, from the front desk to the bedside care! The SICU was well staffed and cordial. Mom was later moved to their rehab unit and the doctors and staff followed up with her to see how she was doing and address concerns. The security personal made visiting easy ... with student interns helping me to find my way around the first few visits. I was truly impressed with the hospital and staff throughout. Oh, and even parking was pretty easy and convenient most times.

I attended the Joint Replacement Pre-Op Class this morning, March 3/26, for my upcoming Total Hip Replacement on March 23rd. To say that I was impressed with this Conference would be a huge understatement! Ameka Anglin is just fabulous. Her presentation and helpfulness is beyond excellent. I came into the emergency room for what I believed to be a super sprained ankle, which actually turned out to be a broken ankle. Every Staff member I came across, the ER nurses Courtney and Sofia, Stanley who handled admissions and the PA in emergency Joseph, X-Ray technicians and everyone else in ER were helpful, professional and made it a pleasurable experience. Once I was admitted my nurses Tavia and Paris on floor 9 made sure that I had the attention and care that was needed. They constantly checked on me, made sure I was comfortable and were nothing but top tier nurses. If it weren't for their attention to detail I would be in much worse spirits after having 10 screws and two plates put into my ankle. Steve Martin was very kind and provided excellent customer service. He was attentive and genuinely concerned about the quality of the food, making sure everything met expectations. The host was also very customer-service oriented and welcoming. Additionally, the nurses on the south east unit were extremely caring, attentive, and compassionate throughout the experience.

The best experience I've had in a hospital. Staff was very attentive and knowledgeable. Almost lost my leg, and I'm thankful I was here. They jumped in to action with emergency surgery, and saved my leg. Wanted to add a few superstars like Steve Martin, Kate, Harvey, Kyleigh, Brenna, Talia, Annekia, Isabelle, and many more that helped me along this long journey.
