Broward Health Medical Center Outpatient Pharmacy

Possibly the most unprofessional group of people I have ever dealt with. After discharge went to pick up meds. 14 items listed. Only 11 given. Three were not on the network. Nobody told us and just sent us home without meds or information. Had to come in to find out. Zero help. Just said we'll call the doctor and you will have to wait or come back. Entire hospital staff is completely incompetent.

They let some random in the office change my prescription without verifying it with the doctor himself, and because of that I’m in too much pain to even walk and have to wait for who knows how long for them to fix their mistake, they have refused to fix it today and I am left suffering and missed work because of it.

This is by far the laziest, least knowledgeable, most disrespectful, bare minimum, incompetent, group of individuals I have ever had the misfortune of being forced to interact with and it’s EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. The amount of misinformation they are willing to dissipate to keep from having to do anything is appalling. Being in the hospital is difficult enough without having to battle my own pharmacy for the same medication every single time I have the displeasure of dealing with them

So I have a twin brother the outpatient pharmacy has been using my insurance when I called to make them aware they said I have to call my insurance instead of just taking it off and writing a note on his profile basically there just lazy as can be so id watch and double check your meds go anywhere but there there awful place ...
