Brookstone Estates, Fairfield, Illinois. I definitely cannot say enough about this place. I absolutely love the management and staff. I truly believe that management and staff make it like a home setting. There is no doubt that they believe in what they’re doing and accept and love every one of the residents. It absolutely shows in every way. The activities, the interaction with staff and other residents is amazing. I love how clean and decorated this place is, especially for every season. One of my favorite times is Thanksgiving, how they warmly welcome and encourage family members to share in that special time. Brookstone has been a wonderful place for mother. The apartments are spacious with a full kitchen if needed. The chef is great and provides options to the menu and residents preference. The staff are all very friendly and loving. Diana responds to all questions and requests quickly and with compassion.

The staff at Brookstone in Fairfield, Illinois are outstanding. They go above and beyond to assist their residents. We have had nothing but positive interactions with staff at this location. Our family member has been a resident for over a year and a half. The nursing staff does a great job communicating anytime my family member is transported to the ER or they have any concerns. They have been great when helping with follow up care, such as, blood pressure checks, recognizing residents’ needs after returning from ER visits or hospital stays, assisting with Physical Therapy needs and medication changes. I am immensely grateful for the remarkable kindness and care exhibited by the staff at Brookstone Estates of Fairfield. It brings me great comfort to know that my mom is surrounded by such loving individuals who create an environment where she can stay active, find happiness, and truly enjoy herself. Her apartment is spacious and the staff keep it clean. The food is always delicious.

Although the apartments are reasonably spacious and offer basic amenities, the quality of care and attention to residents is concerning. Meals are frequently inadequate, often limited to sandwiches and minimal portions of soup that are not satisfying. Holidays and special events receive little effort, which can leave residents feeling overlooked. Communication and overall treatment of residents need serious improvement. Families should carefully evaluate whether this level of care meets their expectations before choosing this facility.
