I cannot say enough good things about Brookshire Brothers Pharmacy in Huntington, Texas. We were dealing with a very complicated situation—my husband was going between three different doctors, plus a hospital visit, which meant three different sets of prescriptions. It was a lot to manage and very stressful trying to get everything transferred under one doctor. The staff at Brookshire Brothers Pharmacy went above and beyond to help us. They were patient, kind, and extremely helpful in getting everything straightened out. My family had been going to this pharmacy for a long time but in the past year or so the customer service has gone downhill and last night was the final straw I asked the lady if a specific medication was in the bag often times they don’t tell you what’s in the bag unless you specifically saying something maybe because the often don’t have what you need but I continue she proceeds to lie saying this medication which is keeping someone ALIVE is in there we continue with the transaction and pricing is talked about because my insurance we have to go over all meds in the bag however she does not say they medication that she just LIED TO ME about having in there I ask her about about it she then says we won’t have it till Monday at this point I ask what can we do because Monday does not work t

Having a drive through pharmact is a lot more convenient and so glad we have it. However, since the move they lost the friendly staff they used to have. The old staff knew you by name, always smiled at you, always made you feel welcome and provided you with that down home friendliness, that Brookshire's is known for. Now, when go through the drive through or go inside you're never provided with a smile or even a polite hello, how are you. It's just sad that's not there anymore. Especially because some people could be picking up medication that's helping them battle cancer, medication for a life threatening disease, or even depression medication. So with a simple friendly smile and sweet hello someone could drastically change and person's day.

The pharmacist is rude. She cares more about a “ratio” issue than patients having their medicine and treats people like they are less than her just because they take a certain kind of medicine.

The pharmacy staff at Brookshire Brothers in Huntington are hands-down the best in the area. I have used Walgreens, Walmart & CVS over the years, and never received the kind of service that I get at Brookshire Bros. I utilize the mobile app for refills & it is so efficient & easy to navigate. The pharmacy clerk is always so pleasant & the pharmacist has been knowledgeable & helpful. Wait times are minimal. Huntington has a real hidden gem here.
