Brookshire Brothers Pharmacy

I have lived all over the Greater Houston area and am a patient with a chronic condition. I feel like I live at the pharmacy and have tried all the major pharmacies and several minor ones. BB's everywhere have been the BEST pharmacies. I have to say, though, that the one in Coldspring is exceptional. When I call with an issue, it is resolved very quickly. Scripts are filled quickly. Staff are extremely polite and enjoyable. Cash prices with their plan are even better than with my insurance. Anytime I have a problem, they are willing to help. It makes a huge difference when you are literally working to recover. I am very grateful.

The pharmacist and staff went above and beyond to get my prescriptions filled in a reasonable amount of time. They are personable and the pharmacist took the time to explain side effects and food interactions.

My best friend and love of my life had a heart attack back on October 10, 2010. The doc said when it came to eating or buying Plavix, buy the Plavix. He had no insurance at all. We struggled every month for a $300 prescription. There was a time a pharmacist actually paid for his prescription, because he knew we couldn't afford it. God Bless him. I hate I cannot remember his name, but he was God sent, needless to say. They finally came out with the generic plavix and he recieved insurance. I was also in need with the pharmacy with my mental health. I had insurance greatfully. They met mine and his every need. I felt the need today to thank this pharmacy. I wish I had done this along time ago, but did not have a phone or know about social media. Anyway, I lost my insurance eventually. I d

These are some friendly people. I've never had a problem there. They get to know you and treat you like family.

For the second time in a row we have had problems with this pharmacy. We called ahead and were told the prescriptions would be ready in one hour. We waited the hour and came to the pharmacy. Prescriptions were not ready. We were given a beeper and asked to wait. After 15 minutes we were called back. The prescriptions still were not ready. We waited longer and received a text that stated that the medicine was filled and ready for pickup. When we checked, it was not ready. After another 20-30 or so minutes(and three more trips through the line) the medicine was ready. The people working here are very sweet and understanding, but this pharmacy is so poorly organized that it is hard to work with them. Sometimes they seem to not even know which medications they have and which they do not have
