Thank you, Dr. Christiansen and team for giving the best Dental care to my six-year-old and 11-year-old! They LOVE Coming to the dentist, which is a little bizarre but they ask when they can go get their teeth, cleaned and watch movies on the ceiling🤣 you all are always on time and I know I can trust the treatment plan this Office gives!! We have experienced many different offices through multiple moves and have been told we needed fillings when we really didn’t . Dr. Christensen pulled my son’s first teeth and he asked “ how did she get those out with just cotton rolls ?” ( because he was happy and didn’t even feel a thing ) ! She also recommended just watching a cavity versus another dentist who told us we had to get it filled. We’re still watching it and my six-year-old is doing great
The dentist is a joke. The hygienists do the most work. I tolerated this dentist since it's kid friendly and my child is young. We found he had a cavity, and this is when we really saw what a terrible provider she is. When asked is it a cavity? She laughed and brushed it off. I had to ask more questions like what can be done. Then she talked about fillings and sedation. I asked what can be done to halt a cavity without fillings. Only then did she talk about silver fluoride. She didnt even go into detail about it. The way she talked about it made me think this was a product I just buy on Amazon, or a special toothpaste. Then I had to ask her can you give me some written info. She gave me a sheet and didn't say much. I thought it was an informational sheet. Took a while to realize it was an
I had a similar experience as some others below with being told my child had a cavity and that I needed to get it filled. My 5 year old was traumatized during the process but I just trusted the doctor here. She gave me NO INFORMATION and when I asked for more I barely got an explanation on it. We came back less than 5 month later for a check up and he supposedly had 3 more cavities and one of them was on the other side of the existing tooth I let her fill. How can that happen? I asked and again barely got any information. So, I went to my trusted dentist and he told me one cavity does need to be filled but the others do not need to be filled. This dentist seems to just want to get money and not really care for the little patients who go here. I wouldn’t recommend.
We have been coming here for years, and generally had a good experience, until the doctor attempted an extraction on my son so that he could have orthodontic work done. The practitioner did not explain/prepare him for this and he got upset. Rather than help him calm down, they immediately ushered him into the lobby and refuse to make another attempt, even months later. They dismissed my concerns and "referred" an oral surgeon who won't see patients under 12. This means almost a year until he can have necessary dental work done which could impact him for a long time. The doctor refuses to listen to reason or entertain the possibility that this was just a bad morning for him. You would think that someone that specializes in children's dentistry would be more empathetic and more skilled in he
Love Dr. Judy, office, and staff!! We moved about 45 minutes away and tried a dentist close to our house......it wasn't Dr. Judy. My kids were excited to go back to her. She is worth the drive!! When my son was younger he didn't do well at the dentist and she accommodated him with his own room for cleanings, for many years. The hygienist are always gentle and kind, the office staff are efficient and friendly, and Dr. Judy does a great job at what she does. Always straight forward and to the point. Easy to talk to and ask questions, great with the kids, sweet, kind and caring. What I love best is that she respects you as the parent and lets you make informed decisions about your children's dental care. Glad to be back. :-) Thank you!
