Brookdale Phillippi Creek

My mom has only been in Brookdale's memory facility for a month, but so far I am pleased with her care and services. They do a good job with cleaning the rooms and the caretakers are responsive to my questions and concerns. So far,so good!!

I would NEVER recommend this facility to anyone I know. They lack the competence to treat patients appropriately or professionally. The lapses in care and communication is astounding. Please, stay away

I feel compelled to share my family's distressing experience with Brookdale Phillippi Creek, where my sister was briefly placed after her move from Utah in May 2024. Unfortunately, this transition was marred by significant issues that compelled my nieces to seek alternative care for their mother within just a few days of her arrival. Despite my niece's meticulous planning, and dedication over the past three years in managing their Mother’s care, the initial experience at Brookdale Phillippi Creek was disheartening. The facility failed to meet the expectations set by its reputation, leading my nieces to move their mother back to her previous home, where she was welcomed with open arms. The care staff at this location work really hard and do a great job caring for the residents here. The management team is some of the best around. If you are looking for a place for your loved one… I would check this place out. They will work with you on pricing and have nice rooms.

The care and respect my mom received at Brookdale Phillippi Creek was absolutely beyond what I could have asked for. Apparently the changes in administration have brought it a long way. I did not experience any of the negative reviews I have read. Thank you to all the hard working staff, the nurses and nursing director. They were great problem solvers and listened when I needed something taken care of. My mom has since passed away. The respect and love we felt all the way through the dying experience was more than we could have asked for.
