We were not patients here before today. Sadly, our mule who we have loved deeply was dying and our normal vet was out of town. I called and explained that I thought our mule was passing. He’s 40 years and sometimes he pulls through and sometimes he doesn’t but today I had the instinct to call for him to be euthanized. He went downhill extremely quickly today from standing to not in just hours. Dr. Brisbane drove out to my property and helped my mule become at peace very quickly. He was kind and delicate throughout the process. Before with our other animals that process has felt rushed. I tend to hold it together as a mom of 3 boys and was taken back by how gentle he was with my mule during end of life care. I was extremely pleased and appreciative of him coming out today within hours of me

I took my fur baby(100 lb. Lab mix) here for his annual yesterday. This was my first visit. I had used the other Smithville vet and he had ignored what I brought my dog in for and instead tried to upsale everything except for my pets issue. Please use Brisbane. The front desk girls and the tech were amazing and so helpful. Dr. Jessica was kind and very informative about how my baby was. They were practical informational and my hyperactive baby was handled with care.

I have been a client of this vet for YEARS Dr Brisbaine himself was very kind THE STAFF however is clueless, unhelpful and rude! We had to put our dog of 12 years down, never an easy situation and it was a surprise and the day after Christmas. All happening within a few hours. I was less than pleased with the way the paperwork was handled and felt as if we were just a number with "how you want to pay for that" and our pet was nothing more than a transaction! I called today to discuss this with the office manager and she was less than helpful. Not an apology, no offering of condolences, just more attitude. There is a right way and a wrong way to handle tender situations and if my pet is nothing more than a transaction to you and your staff then this will be the last transaction you will
