I ABSOLUTELY ADORE DR. BRIFFEL and I have been a patient at this practice for many years and have never had an issue until this interaction with the reception desk today. I called with the intention of ordering my contact lenses directly through the office, as I prefer to support a practice I’ve trusted for years. Instead, I was told—without hesitation—that I had not been seen since March 2025 and that no contact lens prescription had been issued since then. I calmly explained that I had been seen more recently, had contacts prescribed, and had submitted the visit for insurance reimbursement, which I received. I had a very disappointing experience with this office. I had to cancel my appointment for the second time, and the reason was because I was sick. Out of courtesy, I explained that I didn’t want to come in and risk getting anyone else sick. Instead of understanding, the woman who handles the appointments spoke to me with a very rude attitude, told me she had to “talk to the doctor” because it was my second cancellation, and then yelled at me not to come before hanging up the phone. This is not how patients should be treated. Life happens, and sometimes appointments need to be rescheduled—especially for health reasons. Excellent care and great eye glass selection

They were incredibly helpful and kind. Took the time to explain things that other doctors had not. Gave me referrals to another optometrist even though they would not receive any benefit. Stylish frame selection! Highly recommend.

Dr.Briffel and his wife Dr.Meyann Briffel provided my family and I with the most professional eye examination that we have ever had. They explained everything that they were doing and answered all of our questions. They have a large selection of eye wear to choose from and also contact lenses. If you play sports they can fit you or your children with sport glasses . I highly recommend them for all of your eye care needs.
