Bridgeport Hospital Milford Campus

Here's how much Milford Hospital charges to lay in their ER hallway, mostly ignored, for 6.5 hours: $5,920. During which, I am outside a room where some poor patient is going through end of life (has a DNR Order, pulling out his own IVs) with family members in there. Door wide open, no privacy...don't you think they deserve some basic level of privacy with this matter? Anyone reading this: if you care about your health, or that of your friends and family, DO NOT go to Milford Hospital.

I wish I could give their radiology department 0 stars. I waited 2 hours for my 5:40pm appointment only to watch patients that came way after I did be taken first. When asking how much longer the wait would be I was informed my appointment was not until 6:40 when I clearly had multiple confirmation emails and text messages confirming 5:40. Instead of rectifying the situation, the tech proceeded to take the woman that was way after my appointment saying her "scan was quick and will do her quick". I am disgusted with the lack of professionals in this facility.

I came today with my friend in the emergency room because she was having a miscarriage. Not only they made us wait almost 2 hours but when I asked for help because my friend was fainting, they said they couldn’t do nothing about it. Very disrespectful and unprofessional behaviour my friend was in a lot of pain and instead of help we had the two security guards in the front laughing at her for asking help. Unexceptional behaviour. I wanted to add that at least our experience with the doctor and nurse Jasmine were excellent and they were very supportive with my friend. Therefore our opinion for the security won’t change.

It's really sad how this place only has 2.8 stars I had surgery yesterday (12/22) and everyone was so nice! All the nurses were so kind. They helped calm me down when I was very scared. There were always nurses checking up on me before the surgery. I don't remember what happened after the surgery but I assume they were very helpful I like this place a lot everyone is so caring

The nurses and aids on the floor were awful. My dad is in pain and with limited mobility. Every time we had to press the call button, Noone responded. I had to lift him up in the bed by myself, as no one came. I asked for help when he had to urinate, they lower the bed rail and walked away. He missed the urinal , peed on the floor. When I told them and asked for it to be cleaned up, they stood around the corner and co.plained that I didn't help him. This is the worst hospital experience ever.
