My adult son went here for vent weening and was able to accomplish it within the expected time frame. He received excellent care from so many people on 2west. Eleanor and Hassan were two of his exceptional nurses that helped me leave each day with confidence that he would be well cared for while I was gone. Wanda and Trinda were two techs that I knew would keep him dry and comfortable each day. The NP, Vivian and Valerie as well as PA Joe always took great care of him when Dr A or Dr Hannson weren’t covering him. Whenever I did have a concern, I called Rocky and she handled me (my panic) wonderfully. She also visited my son every day and was sunshine in our stressful day. The nursing supervisors were great if I didn’t want to bother Rocky. Finally the hospital is the cleanest medical faci

I am extremely disappointed with the level of nursing care my sister received. She is nonverbal and completely dependent on staff for her basic needs, which makes attentive and compassionate care even more critical. Unfortunately, that was not the experience she received. On multiple occasions she was left soiled and unclean, which is unacceptable for any patient, especially someone who cannot advocate for herself. It was clear that the nurse did not check on her regularly or provide the basic hygiene care that every patient deserves. Patients who are nonverbal are among the most vulnerable, and they rely on healthcare staff to treat them with dignity, respect, and compassion. Leaving a patient in that condition reflects a serious lack of attention and concern. I hope this issue is addr

My mom has been at Bridgepoint National Harbor for 5 months. The pulmonologist, respiratory therapist and physical therapist all do a phenomenal job. In particular, Ms. Rocky has provided exceptional service to my mom and entire family during her stay. She checks on my mom daily, in some cases twice a day, to ensure all her needs are met. We are truly appreciative of Ms. Rocky and all the staff at Bridgepoint National Harbor.

The saving grace of my family member patient and my family was the patient advocate, Ms Rocky. She made things happen and streamlined the communication. Like any institution, you are only as good as your workers. I was often frustrated because the communication would drop off or the person I spoke to was not the person there at next contact. Ms Rocky made sure the messages were delivered and received by the appropriate party. When Ms Rocky was involved my concerns for my brother was definitely heard. She organized grief support when our youngest brother passed during my elder brother's stay at Bridgepoint. There were definitely other wonderful people: the entire security staff, always providing positivity and kind words, wound care with Ms Ann and Mr Price, PT/OT with Brook, Karen, and Ant

My husband was a patient at BridgePoint Long Term Care Hospital for 9 weeks. He received excellent care by the Wound Care Team( Ann, “T”, Mr. Price and Dr. Johnston and Chelsea). The best wound care he’s received in 56 years! His stay was a success because of the hard work of his Patient Advocate, Miss Rocky, who made sure any issue we had was addressed and resolved immediately. What a difference having someone in-house advocating for you. Highly recommend this facility.
